재단법인 한국근현대미술연구재단은 한국 근현대미술의 미술사적 가치를 연구하고 한국 미술과 세계 미술의 맥락을 연결하기 위한 다양한 사업을 전개합니다. 국내외 연구자들의 연구 활동을 지원하고, 한국 미술이 세계 무대에 소개될 수 있는 전시와 전문서적 발간을 지원하며, 미술관 위탁 운영을 비롯해 한국 미술의 가치가 보존되고 극대화될 수 있는 다양한 사업을 전개하여 세계 예술과의 소통을 추구합니다.

앞으로도 한국근현대미술연구재단은 다양한 사업을 통해 축적된 우수한 성과를 더 많은 사람과 공유하며 한국 미술의 발전에 기여하겠습니다.

These traditions are expressed through a distinctly aesthetic perspective. Now, the time has come for us to promote the excellence of Korean art on the global stage.

KoRICA is dedicated to researching the art-historical significance of modern and contemporary Korean art and fostering its connection with the broader context of world art. Our initiatives include supporting the research activities of domestic and international scholars, facilitating exhibitions that showcase Korean art to the global audience, publishing specialized art books, and undertaking diverse projects such as museum management. These efforts aim to preserve and amplify the value of Korean art while fostering dialogue with the global art community.
